Where are you selling your product?

One of the first questions we will ask you is where you are doing business. Spanish has a number of variants so we need to ensure you pick the right language. Are you working in Mexico or Barcelona?

Do you need Mexican Spanish translation services or Latin American? Actually they are both pretty similar. However the Spanish they use in Spain is not the same. Capitalization and grammar rules are different.

Similarly there are differences between British English and US English.

If you are selling globally you will probably need both language variants. So your budget will need to cover two translations for the best results.

We can convert European Spanish to LA Spanish so can help you manage the costs of dual translation accordingly.

Spanish Website Translation Services

We can help with your website in a number of ways. You should think about translating your content, images, video, audio, and even SEO. We’ll help you rank and grow in the country you choose.

Spanish Language Tips

  • Be careful with capitalisation
The rules can vary depending on the region and dialect. So make sure you choose the correct method for you language.
  • Spanish is not the same in every region. Similar words can have different meanings. Meaning can vary from region to region. In Spain, the word “carro” is a cart that you push or pull to transport things, but in Latin America, it’s an actual car.
  • Idioms seldom translate. Don’t use them in your English documents.
  • Be careful with Proofreaders. When you hire a proofreader make sure they are from the region your product is being used in. Ask where they are from. We have seen products for Latin America translate and then altered by European spanish speaker. They can introduce errors because of the errors we’ve mentioned above.

Spanish SEO

When SEOing’s your site make sure you think about a strategy for the region you want your site to target.

You may need to have 2 Spanish sites, one for Spain and one for Latin America.

Spanish is the third most common language used on the internet. Spanish-speaking users make up about 36.5% of internet users. Obviously, you are missing a great deal of potential sales in the Spanish-speaking market if your website content remains in English-only or another language.

Inbound Links: Part of your SEO strategy should be to bet inbound links from Spanish websites. You should engage with a team that can help you build up an online presence in your target region. There are many wasy to achieve this depending on what industry you and in and the products you sell.
