Translation from US English into British English.

For clients based on either side of the Atlantic, we provide a translation into both US English and British English. We can translate and localize your text for each region. There are many differences between both languages. The most obvious one is spelling, but there are numerous terminology differences.

The US for example speaks about Gasoline, Patties, Chips, and Fries, whilst in Europe, they talk about Petrol, Burgers, Crisps, and Chips.  Cars in America have “Hoods”, whilst European cars have “Bonnets”. In the US you might use a “Cell phone” in Europe “a mobile” or “Handy” in Germany.

Government departments and some design agencies often use Simplified English for creating documentation – that is clear to understand, and easier to translate.
